Dr. Michaela Aguirre grew up in Frisco, Texas. She has had a lifelong passion for animals that led her to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. Dr. Aguirre earned her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science from Tarleton State University and completed graduate coursework in Environmental Science and Environmental Policy. She then went on to gain her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Texas A&M in 2026.
Dr. Aguirre’s professional interests include internal medicine, preventive care, client education, and strengthening the human-animal bond. She enjoys working closely with pet owners to develop individualized healthcare plans and helping families feel informed and confident in the care of their pets.
Outside of work, Dr. Aguirre enjoys traveling, visiting museums, aquariums, and zoos, supporting local Texas sports teams and spending time with family and friends. She shares her life with Paisley, her Border Collie; Orion, her Domestic Shorthair cat; and Michael Angelo, her Ball Python.
