Dr. Stefani Day was born in Connecticut, however her family moved to Corpus Christi, Texas where she spent her pre-college years growing up.
In May of 1999 she earned her Bachelor of Science from Texas A&M University, where she went on to earn her D.V.M. from the College of Veterinary Medicine in May 2003. Following her studies, Dr. Day completed an equine internship in Goldsby, OK and proceeded to practice mixed animal and emergency medicine in the Allen area for several years following graduation. Dr. Day decided to begin caring for strictly small animals when she joined the Animal Hospital of Melissa team in 2008. She takes pride in being part of the Melissa community where she calls home.
Dr. Day’s special interests include surgery, endocrinology, emergency medicine, and client care and education.
When she is not caring for pets, Dr. Day spends time with her 2 children and a variety of 4-legged friends. Her favorite past times are reading, hiking, snowboarding, and all things outdoors.
